METALLICA's Bulgarian Promoters Fail To Pay Tax On 2008 Concert
December 30, 2009The Sofia Echo reports that the National Revenue Agency (NRA) is chasing Bulgarian promoters who have staged some of the biggest shows in Bulgaria, including METALLICA's July 25, 2008 concert at Vasil Levski Stadium in Sofia.
According to the law, performers must pay 10 percent tax on concerts staged in Bulgaria. NRA checks established, however, that none of the 13 Bulgarian promoters had paid this tax to the state.
